We built the systems we wished existed when we were doing the work ourselves
Matt spent nearly a decade at a medical device company — International Account Manager based in Shanghai, then Worldwide Sales Director, then Director of Sales & Marketing. Six years living and working in China. Professional working Mandarin.
He started building AI workflows for his own sales teams using the OpenAI API before ChatGPT existed. He'd spent enough years in sales to see the patterns — the research that took longer than the conversation, the outreach that didn't match what the buyer actually cared about, the processes that scaled with headcount when they should have scaled with intelligence. He built the first systems to solve those problems for himself.
Since then, he's designed and deployed over 40 custom AI systems across SaaS, e-commerce, financial services, and healthcare. He also spent three years as an editorial writer for the Wall Street Journal and has run a healthcare technology company since 2018.
